Gourmet trip to the Schnalstal Valley – Monastery, cheese and Finailhof

Together with Matteo, an experienced travel guide, you will start your day relaxed and comfortably directly from the hotel. Matteo knows the hidden corners of South Tyrol and will show you special places that are truly worth seeing.

By taxi, the trip first takes you to Karthaus for a short visit to the former monastery. The drive into the Schnalstal Valley is already a special experience in October: the golden-yellow larches turn the valley into an impressive natural spectacle.

Afterwards, the journey continues into the Pfossental Valley, in the heart of the Texel Group Nature Park. There you will visit the Infanglhof, a small mountain farm surrounded by steep rock faces and larch forests. At the farm, various cheeses and farm products are made with great care and traditional craftsmanship – including products made from hay milk, with a strong focus on naturalness, sustainability and regional cycles.

During the tasting, you will enjoy special products directly from the farm before continuing to a cosy meal at the Finailhof.

Price: €100 per person

The meal at the Finailhof is not included in the price and is paid separately on site.

Limited number of participants – registration required.

Beer, farm products and Törggelen

Together with Matteo, you will start comfortably directly from the hotel. By taxi, the tour first takes you to Deutschnofen for a beer tasting at Noppbräu. Afterwards, there will be a short stop at the famous Lake Carezza, where you can admire the breathtaking natural scenery.

The journey then continues into the Fassa Valley to a small farm where many products are made directly on site and the animals are kept on the farm. During a short guided visit, you will gain an insight into the farm and its traditional production methods, before tasting homemade cheeses and cured meat products.

From the Fassa Valley, the route continues over the impressive Sella Pass. Especially in autumn, nature shows its most beautiful colours here: colourful forests, golden larches and the impressive mountain scenery of the Dolomites make this drive a truly special experience. Afterwards, there will be a short stop in the centre of Ortisei in Val Gardena before continuing to Lajen for dinner at the Pedrutscherhof.

Price: €125 per person
